Sensitivity Analysis

Abstract

A (mathematical or otherwise) model study is a phenomenon in which the quality depends on the knowledge of this phenomenon. This model can be associated with different sources of uncertainty. The sensitivity analysis (SA) examines the influence of these uncertainties by identifying, quantifying, and analyzing the responses of output variables of the model, impacted by the uncertainties of the input variables. Two methods of SA are available: local and global SA.
