Cadre de santé, un positionnement au cœur de contradictions
Abstract
The activity of healthcare managers in hospitals finds itself at the heart of a maelstrom of challenges and interactions which are inevitable sources of tensions. At the same time, managers have to be "creators of coherence" for themselves as well as for their teams. Their central position forces them to perform a continual balancing act. Surely responding to the "management malaise" means helping them manage the dilemmas inherent to their profession in order to avoid them being left on their own, confronted with the ensuing difficulties.
L’activité des cadres de santé à l’hôpital se situe au cœur d’un tourbillon d’enjeux et d’interactions sources de tensions. Dans le même temps, ils sont amenés à être des “fabricants de cohérence“ pour eux-mêmes comme pour leurs équipes. Leur positionnement central les contraint à un exercice continu d’équilibriste. Répondre au “malaise des cadres” n’est-ce pas les aider à gérer les dilemmes inhérents à leur métier afin d’éviter de les laisser seuls, confrontés aux difficultés qui en résultent ?
